Show family affection to one another with brotherly love. Outdo one another in showing honor. (Romans 12:10 HCSB)
Every day I am overwhelmed by the blessings God has poured out into our lives in the form of family and friends. My sweet friend Cassandra, with some help from her hubby Justin, made us this beautiful box of cookies. She placed the box on my chair yesterday morning. I don't think they were intended to be a Valentine's Day gift, but it sure was a sweet gift that pulled on my heart strings!
Precious!

Got my numbers! 459.9! Nurse said that # is good. I go in on Feb 29th for my first ultrasound. :-) :-) :-) :-)
FAQ's
I went in for my second blood test (I should get a call this afternoon with the results) this morning an they handed me this sheet. Many people have asked me a lot of these questions so I thought I would post a picture. Hopefully you can read it.

Happy times!
Everyone's been so sweet in congratulating us and making us feel so special. My dear friend Cassandra & her husband Justin sent us flowers yesterday, then we went to Jason & Holly's house for dinner and to tell the girls. So much fun to see them excited! Justin's family took us out to dinner tonight and my parents stopped by before dinner to say congrats and drop off snacks. Thanks for all of the well-wishes, calls and texts!!! We are so confident that God is in total control but we still don't know His exact plan yet so we aren't going totally public until we are through the first trimester. So exciting!

Drumroll please...
It's positive! Nurse just called with the news that my hsg is at 117! I go back Monday for another draw to make sure my numbers keep going up! After I got off the phone, I hugged Justin for a while, finished crying, peed on a stick just so I can actually see it say pregnant, then proceeded to contact the many folks praying for us. YAAAY praise GOD for this (or these) miracle(s)!

ICSI
We received the embryologist report in the mail over the weekend and I thought there was a typo because the report states that the 14 mature eggs were inseminated via ICSI. ICSI sounds like icksey and stands for intracytoplasmic sperm injection - where they choose one sperm to inject directly into each egg rather than to just see how the eggs would fertilize if the sperm & eggs were combined in the dish- was not originally indicicated for us because there were no concerns with Justin's sperm. I called the office to see if my readout was a typo or if they actually did change the protocol. Long story short, I received a call back from Dr. Park who said that protocols can change mid cycle but since no one discussed this change with us, they will not charge us for the service if the insurance doesn't cover it! Whew! I'm pretty sure this is one thing the insurance won't cover and it would
cost us a good $2k if not more. It's a little concerning that they manipulated our 'stuff' in a way that they did not discuss with us, but at the same time God makes no mistakes. This process has been bathed in prayer so maybe it was in His plan to hand-pick the sperm. Who knows, I just gotta trust! Also, Dr. Park asked how I was feeling and if I took a home test yet. I told him I took a couple last weekend and he basically laughed at me! It made me feel a lot better that those negatives really didn't mean anything. I go in for the blood draw tomorrow at 7:30 and should
hear the results by lunch time. Eeeeek!

Support
Thank you to everyone praying & supporting us - we totally feel it! Just a couple more days for the blood test!!! Here is a pic of a gift my sweet friend Megan from work have me today. It took me a minute to process the "sticky vibes" she was trying to send me with this gift. :-)
