Gotta travel while we can...

We are in DC this weekend for Justin's spring break. Putting him in the middle of all this history is like bringing a kid to Disney World! I'm wearing out but he feeds me and gives me breaks often.

Also- really good news. They finally took me off of the progesterone at my last appt & I really think that has helped my nausea subside. Praise the Lord! I'm also better at feeding myself things that don't gross me out.

I've started reading the little one books. I don't know when the baby will start to hear us but I just like the routine for now. Any good books out there? Let me know your favorites!

Here's a pic of us out & about today.

Ultrasound #2

Our baby is sprouting feet! And everything is looking good. We have been released from Carolina Conceptions and I'm waiting on a call back from Atrium OBGYN for our next appt. It's looking more and more like a regular pregnancy now!

Documenting symptoms

Boring post alert - just for my documentation but read along as long as you're not uncomfortable with details.

*I pee at least every 45 minutes
*If I don't eat every 2 hours, I wanna puke- joined the club tonight with actually getting sick for the first time.
*I've grown a whole cup size since the beginning of this. They don't hurt as bad as they did a couple of weeks ago.
*pretty emotional, but that's also my baseline so I don't think much has changed there.
*I live to sleep.

It may sound like I'm complaining and maybe sometimes I am but most of the time I remember to praise God for all of this because this is what I've been praying for for 3 years - even the yucky stuff. I know it will be so worth it. :-)

Katie

For the last couple of weeks, my niece Katie has been keeping herself busy during church with drawings like these. Cute, huh?

First ultrasound tomorrow

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you, he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deut 31:8

My very wise sister in law reminded me of this verse today and I'm keeping it in mind. Just praying our hearts are ready for whatever the Lord is preparing for us. Look for a post tomorrow around 9:30. :-)

Queasiness and Hankerings

So this is what looked good to me in the store today as I wandered through with not-so morning sickness. Good thing I'm taking lotsa vitamins!
